Redwood Metal Works Manufactures Artex Manure and Feed Products

Artex was a company started almost 40 years ago and has been the industry leader in Manure Spreaders, Silage Trailers and Truck Boxes.

In 2008, Redwood Metal Works purchased the right to use ARTEX’s product brand, acquired the inventory, tooling, blue prints and plans.  Since that time we have been metal fabricating the ARTEX line.

The Artex line includes:

• SB spreaders (spreader box)
• CB truck box (combination box)
• CB pull type spreader
• TR Silage Trailer

Artex and now Redwood Metal Works got to where we are because of manufacturing a quality product.  It had always been the company that deals with manure handling & feed hauling.   The guys here even refer to it as the “Cadillac of Spreaders”!

Artex, now Redwood Metal Works, provides dealers and the public with industrial strength equipment.  Up until about 5 years ago, we had little to no competition.  Make no mistake that other companies are also manufacturing similar products, but they also are involved in so many other products.  Our main focus has been and continues to be the innovator in manure and feed.  “With that type of energy, you can develop a really good product”, says Roger Hoekstra of Redwood Metal Works, who has been selling the Artex line for over 30 years. It is with that dedication to these basic needs that make us stand out from the crowd.

Redwood Metals Works offers fabrication of both steel and aluminum trailers and equipment including manure spreaders, agricultural trailers, silage trailers, fillers and throwers. We also offer complete suspension replacements, rebuilding or lengthening of trailers and dump boxes, general repair or replacement of components.
