Artex Joins the Hay-Forage Expo in Boone IA on June 25-26, 2014
June 15, 2014Formerly known as the Farm Progress Hay Expo and in its 28th year, the newly named Hay & Forage Expo will be held at the Central Iowa Expo Grounds near Boone, IA on June 25th-26th, 2014.
Working field demonstrations on more than 150 acres of land will be the feature of the Expo. Attendees can compare various equipment while operating under actual field conditions. It will include a 10 acre exhibit area with displays from major manufacturers, seed dealers, building and storage contractors, and related product suppliers.
“The Hay & Forage Expo offers the perfect combination of field demonstrations and ag product displays,” says Jungmann, National Events Manager for Farm Progress. “The exhibit field is the place to discuss seed, hay marketing, crop production, conservation and more.”
The Artex Booth is located between the Case IH and New Holland booths at the show!
Daily Schedule of Events
Exhibits: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Mowing: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Forage Chopping: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Raking, Baling & Hay Handling: 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Admission is free. There is a $10 per vehicle parking fee.
Event Details
Food and drink, served by the Boone County Cattlemen, will be available on site.
Trams will be available to take Expo visitors from the exhibit field to the different demonstration locations.
Lunch and Learn
Iowa State University is the sponsor of the education programs, held during lunch hours on both days of the event.
