About Prairie Lime LLC:  We are farmers, industry leaders, truckers, and concerned citizens.  Because of our agricultural heritage, we wanted to make a way to lower our input costs on the farm.  As we started to develop relationships with different industries, there was a market starting to emerge for someone to fill the gap here in Northwest Indiana.  We need to quit finding homes in landfills for useable products and start to use these products in ways that are safe and effective.  We formed a trusting relationship with other area farmers and a company was born.  We stand in the gap, working with industry and farmer to produce useable products, delivered to market for less expensive than traditional input costs.  As we begin to expand our products, we also expanded our services.

About L&L Sales and Service, Inc.: L&L Sales and Service, Inc. began in 1986 as a spinoff of Keller Structures. Keller employees at the time, Bill Lamers and Steve Lamers purchased the equipment division and soon brought Kenny Lemke on board as an owner. Since the inception, we have always strived to be ahead of the competition with new ideas and new thoughts in all areas of the business. With this as our direction, soon after the purchase was made, a concrete and distribution division was added.

In November 2006 Kenny Lemke (previous partner), Chuck Fischer (parts and service manager), and Matthew Thiel (ComfortZone rep), longtime employees of L&L Sales and Service, Inc. purchased the business from the previous owners.
